Whatever your event or activity Grindon Parish Hall has the perfect space for you to create memories that will last a lifetime.
We have availability for either one-off or block bookings.
The whole venue is available at £15.00 per hour (increasing to 17.50 per hour with effect from 1st January 2026).
(Parties will be charged at the whole venue hire charge).
The Main Hall is available at £12.50 per hour.
The Meeting Room is available at £10 per hour.
The Tea Room is available at £6 per hour.

Room Details
We have three rooms available to hire individually or you can hire the whole building.
There are plenty of chairs and tables - available without charge.
In recent years, the Hall has benefitted from large-scale improvements and now offers new kitchen facilities and toilets (including disabled and baby-change). We also have full wheel chair access, free Wi-Fi and a hearing induction loop. There is free parking in the immediate area.

MAIN HALL
Size: 15m x 6m (approximately); high ceiling (approximately 3.6m) suitable for bouncy castle and sports activities
Capacity: 84 (seated theatre style); circa 64 (8 tables of 8 cabaret style)
Cost: £15 per hour; increasing to £17.50 per hour from 1 January 2026
The main hall is a large room with high ceiling and good natural light from four large windows with remote controlled blinds and adaptable lighting. The room benefits from its own controllable air conditioning / heating units.
The hall has polished wood floors and benefits from Smart TV and Bluetooth sound system.
Flexible table and seating arrangements make this room adaptable and multifunctional.
A perfect venue for social events, parties, public forums, meetings, exhibitions and selling events as well as dance, fitness and activity classes.
The room has access to the adjacent kitchen / diner.
SMALL MEETING ROOM
Size: 6.1m x 3m (approximately)
Capacity: 12 (seated round conference table)
Cost: £10 per hour.
The small meeting room is a purpose designed room for meetings and smaller group activities, it benefits from its own entrance (if needed) and natural light from a large window. The room benefits from its own controllable air conditioning / heating units.
The room is carpeted and benefits from Smart TV system.
Flexible table and seating arrangements make this room adaptable and multifunctional.
A perfect venue for business or committee meetings, presentations and social groups.
The room has access to the adjacent kitchen / diner.
KITCHEN / DINER
Diner size: 4.2m x 3m (approximately)
Capacity: 8-10 (seated round tables)
Cost: £6 per hour.
The kitchen is fully fitted with ovens, microwaves, fridge, freezer, coffee machine and equipped with pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware and utensils; everything needed to cater for differing requirements.
The diner is a useful space with direct access to the kitchen and benefits from its locality to the kitchen. The room benefits from its own controllable air conditioning / heating units.
A perfect venue for the more informal meetings and social clubs, activities and gatherings.
