Grindon Parish Hall offers a versatile and fully-appointed venue for a wide range of activities. Located in the picturesque village of Thorpe Thewles, our parish hall has been serving the community for over 100 years. We take pride in providing an excellent environment and first class facilities to ensure that your event is a success.
Our large purpose-built community hall is spacious, well-maintained, and offers modern amenities to meet your needs.
With three rooms available, we can accommodate both small and large groups.
The Hall is a not for profit Charitable Incorporated Organisation. All revenues are re-invested in the Hall.
A Premier Venue in the Heart of Thorpe Thewles
A purpose-built Community Hall which is centrally heated and double glazed. The Hall can seat up to 84 people.
Stacking chairs and tables are available to hirers and included in hire rates.
A modern well equipped kitchen with a range cooker and hob, fridge, microwave oven, kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery and glasses provides everything you need to cater for your event, and is available at no extra charge.
A Modern IT and audio system including audio loop, large monitors/smart TVs with Chrome Cast, Wifi, internet and Meeting Owl.
The Hall has disability access throughout and accessible toilet facilities.
The Hall is covered by a premises licence, Performing Rights Society and Photographic Performance Licences.
